Steph said that being burned at the stake had an effect on shaping their power. Jane creates the illusion of pain(we cant know for sure because the narrator is unaffected...but a burning sensation, maybe?). and Alec is way more powerful than jane. He is one of the reasons the Volturi are pretty much invincible. my guess is that he can do something like flamethrowing, and just take out vamps with none of the timeconsuming fighting stuff.

so yea. thats what i got on Jane and Alec. they are my faves. oh yea, and i also think they are about 10 years old or so....definitely pre-pubescent at least. i just think its a bit creepier/cooler and more demented if they are just like...innocent looking children i guess....i picture them while reading being like 8.

lol i always feel a bit guilty when explaining to my friends that my fave character is Jane because shes so badass...lol shes a ruthless killer. whereas my friends are sympathetic people on that stupid team switzerland....geez. edward forever.

actually, scratch that. VOLTURI FOREVER! YAY! TEAM VOLTURI! :twisted:

I love the Volturi and they're very fascinating and all but...

I know they'll come back and wreak havoc in BD.

Nonetheless, Jane and Alec are badass and totally cool. *puts on shades*

Wierd enough as it seems,
I adore Jane. She reminds me of herself, young, and wanting to be 'leader' in a way. Like in Eclipse, she obviously leads the other Volturi around while she is there taking care of Bree.

I hope we get to know more about her.

Yeah, I have an obsession with making Jane icons, I've made around a hundred. Like you said, she's badass.

Jane sent chills down my spine. she mad my fingers cold and gave me goosebumps, just from hearing Bella's description. But, I still want to know more more more about her.

jane is the most intreging character and i want to know more i think she will be more complex than any other character and definetly want her to be in the 4th book a lot she is definetly one of my favorites and my favorite 'bad' guys

Jane kinda creeps me out. I was just reading the part in Eclipse last night with her in it and I thought the whole killing of Bree was unnecessary...
