Haha, yep, the tease! :D We love Twilight for the sexual tension, but also because it involves Edward... if it was any other two characters, i dont think it would be quite as effective to the reader. Lol. Did that make sense??

uh . . . most of the people I talk to about twilight ((from my school)) are guys . . . and they don't think of it as a girly book . . . neither do I for that matter . . .

and they sure are learning a few things from our dear Edward. ;]

Nahh, ime neither. i dont think of it as a girly book WHATSOEVER! I think that guys are wary about Twilight, because every girl who reads it falls for at least one of the characters (mainly Edward, but also Jacob). So guys think it must be a 'girly book' because why else would we be like obsessed with it lol!! I believe guys think that they'll lose their 'man card' if their friends find out they read Twilight. BUT, what they dont understand is that if they learn a thing or two from our Edward, us girls would be MUCH more interested in them lol :D Everyone's a winner!

I actually got into twilight because my mom perposly left out the little fact that twilight is a ROMANCE, but by the time I found out it was toooooo late I was Hoked and pulled up into the boat. and I'm not getting back out.

SO, If you want a guy to read a the book, just don't tell them its a romance, thats how I got caught.
kind a simple isn't it. but its the truth.

This is not me being argumentative, I'm genuinely curious - How can you not tell that its a romance? The cover is romantic in its way and the blurb on the back says "and i was irrovocably in love with him".......or something along those lines............maybe you didn't read the bacK?

I "convinced" my best friends boyfriend and my best guy-friend to read the series by shoving "Twilight" into their arms and saying, "Read it!!" and they read it :] Now they're just as obsessed with it as I am :] I even got my guy-friends mom obsessed with it!! Now we talk about the Twilight series all of the time :]

My older brother despises me when I start to talk about twilight.
I told him to give it a chance and read it but he wont budge.
I even told him about twilight guy and he said Kaleb
is a ***.
:(
my other guy friends probably wouldn't give it a chance either

I would suggest not to convince him to read it. He'd fall in love with Edward of course.

i presuade EVERYONE but because the majority of my friends are guys..i talk to them the most about it..and some dont understand..so im like "READ THE DAMN BOOK. PLEASE :)"

my guy friend is simply reading it because i said his crush LOVES edward so he wants the dibs on her type...i cant picture him trying to pull of 'an edward' though.

Yeah, i dont understand why guys dont want to read the books.
I mean, there is action and stuff in it, its not just a sappy love story..
Theres plenty of fights and stuff, and the love story doesnt really go so far that its sappy, its like.. PERFECT!
I Just dont understand *shakes head back and forth*
