I don't really picture characters while I read, I went out of my way to try to do this this time, I defintely pictured Jensen Ackles as Jared, tan and kind of rough. I pictured Ian as Ian(lol) and I pictured Missy Peregrym as Mel;

Wanda was difficult, but I found this pic of Sarah Mason and I think she'd be good!

My friend's girlfriend would be a PERFECT Sunny/Jodi. I don't have a picture of her, but she IS Sunny/Jodi. She's about 4"10, olive skin, HUGE eyes, the tiniest waist I've ever seen... And so pretty! She also gets REALLY nervous when she's around people she doesn't know, especially in a group situation. When Steph described Sunny in The Host, I instantly got an image of her in my mind!

I love Jared as Jared... He'd be perfect!

omg i love all those. specially Patrick Fugit, he would be the perfect ian. He's hot just like ian. and he's so compassionate too. good choices!

I imagined Jared blonde.... I dunno, I sort of give him that curly-ish, above-the-shoulder length hair in my eyes, and he alwayssss has stubble. =] He's hot in my imagination. =D Bright green eyes, too, but I dunno if that's in the book or not...

Someone had a picture up for Kyle, but I think he'd make a better Ian. Besides, Ian and Kyle are related, so that's ok! =D

I dunno about Wanda or Melanie... *Sigh*

I think I'd prefer they left The Host a book anyway.

For Pet I had my friend from school in mind, the way Stephenie describes her just had me imagining my friend especially when she was excited at the end and was bouncing and acting all hyper.. I would post a picture but I think my friend would murder me...

i believe Stephenie mentioned in an interview that she thinks Matt Damon would make a good Jared too, as she thinks he has some Jared-like traits.
