Who would you like to see cast if The Host was made into a movie?

I honestly can't even decide I'm horrible with actors.. but I thought I'd get the thread started because you guys are amazing and always find good stuff.

Discuss. (with pictures please)

Maybe this is just because of the name, but I've pictured Jared as Jared Padalecki.

That's all I got for now. I'll keep thinking. Jamie reminds me of a younger Daniel Radcliffe, but not British.

For some reason when I think of Ian, I see Ian Somerhalder...but that's also probably because of the name, hah. And the eyes, that boy has killer eyes.






I've been trying and trying to think of a good Wanda (at the end of the book, not while in Mel's body), but I cannot for the life of my think of any tiny, young blonde actresses. Which is weird, because I always thought of that as like, stereotypical Hollywood. Elisabeth Harnois could work for graphics, but she's way too old now (almost thirty) and too tall.

I actually pictured Jensen as Jared, I dont know he just seems to be tougher than Jared does.




O and I found that some people would Like Sophia Bush a Mel. I think she is pretty. She would do a good job

Wanda was difficult, but I found this pic of Sarah Mason and I think she'd be good!


My friend's girlfriend would be a PERFECT Sunny/Jodi. I don't have a picture of her, but she IS Sunny/Jodi. She's about 4"10, olive skin, HUGE eyes, the tiniest waist I've ever seen... And so pretty! She also gets REALLY nervous when she's around people she doesn't know, especially in a group situation. When Steph described Sunny in The Host, I instantly got an image of her in my mind!

I think that Julianna Margulies would be a good Seeker/Lacey.

call me weird, but i actually think Christina Ricci (with the Trixie from Speedracer getup) will make a good Seeker/Lacey.

I could definitely see her as the Seeker. I mean she can be mean in some of her roles.

I don't know who this guy is or what he has been in on film... but I think he is handsome. Woooo (fans face) He would make a really good looking Ian. They eyes are what got me.. I believe Ian has blue eyes so this is perfect.
