The most basic rule when inserting an image or formatting text is that it must always be sandwiched between the correct codes in order to appear as you would like it to. The buttons above put the correct codes in for you, making it easier for you! And sites like Photobucket have already done the formatting so, in most cases you just need to copy and paste.

Posting A Picture or Image:
1.Go to a site like Photobucket, where the formatting is already done for you.
2.Find the image you'd like to use
3.Click on the IMG Code. It will automatically copy to your clipboard
4.Paste the code in your message.

Avatars:
1. Go to photobucket.com and find the avatar you want.
2. Copy the "Direct Link" code
3. Go to your profile in twilightmoms.com and paste the code in the "Link to off-site Avatar" space.

Formatting Text:
1.Click on the formatting button you would like to use - B, i, U, color, size, etc.
2.Type your text
3.Click on the formatting button you chose again.
or, highlight the text you would like to format and click on the formatting button you would like to use.

Insert Smileys/Emoticons
Simply click on the Smiley you would like to use. (it will appear next to your text in the code form until you Preview or Submit your post)

Quoting:
1.Click on the word "quote" in the upper right corner of the message you wish to quote.
2. Write your reply below the quoted message
or, highlight what you would like to quote and then click on the "quote" button.
