I got my on the fifth... It was at the library here in the US but still not out in stores. I finished it the same day. okay well the next day at like 2 or 3 in the morning.

Mine came in the mail yesterday and I just finished it. I absolutely loved it. I laughed, I cried, I screamed at my brothers because they wouldn't shut up when I was reading. I also didn't really sleep... My mom already took the book from me so she could read it.
I thought it was brilliant.

its amazing you guys. i think i had more emotional breakdowns in this one book than all three of the twilight ones. The characters are more real (most of them are human, so...yea.) and you really live the emotions of two people. its scary.
i think even if youre not a sci-fi fan you might still like it. kinda like the way not all of us are real vampire fans, but the Twilight Vamps are way different....the "aliens" are too!

I GOT MY OWN COPY OF THE HOST!! hehe i'm excited tho it was pretty expensive... $31.00
i was borrowing my friends copy for like 2 weeks.. she didn't like it :O
