Yea im trying to convince my 16 year old 'artist' brother to read a 'popular fan girl book'

notice the quotations =]

all my guy friends hate it LOL cos we girls me and my girlfriends talk about it so much they find is really really annoying and one even said "THE BOOK IS TEARING THE GROUP APART" which i don't believe it is now all the girls have a common obsession. twilight.

the boys only hate it cos they get left out of the conversation. one of my guyfriends have vampire looking teeth ( fangs..) and i know that edward doesn't havefangs. but anyways now i call him edward ( hes also pale skinned) i claim hes my edward and its hilarious cos he has no idea what im talking about LOL

hes considering reading it as we can't stop talking about it hahaha and they are willing to wtahc the movie when it comes out so yay!

There's actually this girl who's a tomboy at my school who just didn't like reading, especially Romance. So we all just kept on insisting that she'd read Twilight and she did,

Now she's obsesed and can't wait untill Breaking Dawn.

All the boys in my school read Twilight, so it's not freaky to see a football jock or a soccer player with a copy of one of the books.

Even my teachers are obssed.

Haha. . . Well, me, my sister, and my mom are twerds. We absolutley love the books and are completley obbsessed. Normal twilight behavior. My dad just doesn't get it. We have rob as out screensaver and one day, he just decided to call him george. He calls james, triston, jasper, chip, emmet, dilbert, jacob, fernando and is still working on them. Haha!

So far.. i have gotten one guy to read Twilight.

Got both my brothers to read it. My older one didn't want to but I made him, and he actually didn't mind it, but my LITTLE BROTHER... oh, man, my little brother. There's a long story to this one, so skip if you want..

The day I was reading Twilight, I had just gotten to the part where Edward was telling Carlisle's story and I decided to take a break. So I went downstairs to get something to drink and my younger brother and my mother were there. As is my habit, I began talking all about the book I was reading, saying my favourite parts, characters, quotes, everything. My brothers' (both) general response to this is to automatically dismiss everything as "terrible". So I said something along the lines of, "Oh my God, Carlisle's story is so AWESOME!!" and my brother responded by saying "Carlisle is an idiot." And I got territorial and said that he didn't know what he was talking about and that he had nothing on Carlisle, let alone EDWARD, so shut up. And he's like, "Oh, yeah? What does Edward have on me?" I started laughing SO hard at that, and he was like, "What?" so I had to tell him, "Well, if you were Edward, you could get just about any girl on the face of the planet you wanted." And, poof! He wanted to read it (go figure. He think's he's God's gift to women--at 13!!). So I begrudgingly lent it to him, and he loves it, and thinks he's a vampire (lol).

And that's my story

Actually all my best guy friends have read it. I usually just ask them to read it, they don't say no to me. But I told two of them that girls would think they're sexy for reading it. Haha.

I have a guy friend who was very interested in reading Twilight. I think he might, only he's been reading other books at the moment.

I think Twilight can be enjoyed by guys too! I don't see any reason why not. ^^

I hope some guys aren't nervous about reading Twilight because of thinking only girls read it. Twilight is a great book for both guys and gals!

Well it is true that most guys don't read Twilight because either they don't like to read or they think the book is all about love which it is mostly.

You don't have to be a girl to enjoy a good love story.....guys tend to forget that lol

ha hayahhh and another reason is probably cuz if they were REALLY worried what every thinks of them theymight get embarrased or something...well im not exactly a guy ha ha but i was just thinking bout that
