Animals and werewolves

We know what happen when vampire bite a person but not kill him. But what happen if he bite an animal or a werewolf? Will they change into some special kind of vampire or simply die?

Vampire venom is poisonous to a werewolf, so they would die. I imagine that after being bitten, an animal wouldn't have very long to live anyway...
