anphelps wrote:My fav non-Twilight book is hands down My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It was the first book that ever made me cry. It's kind of a medical drama/romance. What I love about it is that she switches perspective from all the characters in the whole family throughout the book and you never hear from the girl who is the center of the conflict until the final chapter. It's such a good book!

yes i have that book at home but i havent got to read it yet another good book by her is ninteen minutes its about a school shooting its sad but it really makes you think about right and wrong.

some of my favourite authors are Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harris and Alison Croggon if you like fantasy stories. John Marsden's Tomorrow series is good but i dont know how easy that is to find as he's an australian author.

Love, love, love the books The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and A Thousand Spendid Suns by Kheled Hosseni. Swim the Moon by Paul Brandon is great too. Swim the Moon is about a lonely violenist who lives in solitude in Scotland. He falls in love with a mysterious girl named Ailish, who haunts the bay with her singing. A Thousand Spendid Suns is about two women growing up in Afghanistan and how one woman makes a sacrifice to help the other be with her love. The Time Traveler's Wife is about a man who time travels and his wife, and how they cope with his disorder, and their neverending love.

Wonderful, wonderful books.
Alice: "I'll play you for it. Rock, paper, scissors."
Edward: "Why you don't you just tell me who wins?"
Alice: "I do. Excellent."

Twilight is my heroin.
