Since I am a "Newcomer to Forks" I was wondering, how can I get to know other TwilightTeens? Is there a specific thread?

It might help if you talk about things in the miscellaneous board. The random talk thread in there is a good place, when it's active..

Well, you can introduce yourself to the others and read the other introductory posts over at the Introduce Yourself boards.

And as MeygenAlice said, you can head on over to the Miscelleneous boards and start up conversations with other people. "The totally random talk" is a good place to start.
