So if you've yet to read BD, this interview has spoilers that you might want to stay away from.

Question: Bella feels hesitant about marrying Edward. Is that how you felt when you were proposed to? — KhmaixLinda

Stephenie Meyer: Actually, I was engaged more than once. I had my runaway-bride moment. Maybe there was some of that, although it's really different, because it wasn't the right person [for me] to marry. With Bella, there's no question in her mind that she's going to end up with Edward. It's all about people's perceptions, which is a really silly thing for her to worry about. ... I knew she was going to be with Edward. I wrote this story before I wrote "New Moon" and "Eclipse," and that relationship [with Jacob] actually went a lot farther than I thought it would.

I was actually suprised at people's reactions and oppinions about Renesmee's name though, because I guess it is really unique. But, when I first read her name, I didn't think twice about it. But I could have sworn I heard that name used before. So I don't know if it seems normal to me because of that, or just because my first name is really out of the ordinary. O.o

I didn't really liek the name...at first i thought it was almost as bad as Albus Severus Potter (or whatever that poor kid's name is) but i think as i kept reading it i just learnt to forget and accept it.

Lol..SM was a runaway bride. that's funny.

An di guess as I read more and more answers from Stepahnie I get more used to teh book. I just finished teh book for the 2nd time so I'm accepting it more. So I went from "I like it. It's not great but it's good" to " I really like it!"

Loved the interview! I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble seeing the comments? they don't show up at all on my computer for some reason, maybe because my computer is so old, just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and could maybe tell me how to fix it.

OME! I love SM!! She's so funny

When i first read Renesmee's name, i was like 'Eh?... Please dont let the baby be a girl!!!' LOL! Mainly because i thought it would be just soooo sweet to have a little baby Edward (though it would be confusing, having two main characters with the same name...). But ive really grown to like ithe name , and i was very glad it was a girl in the end. 'Renesmee' is unique, like she is, and imagine Jake's imprinting if it was a dude!!! LOL!

I'm a little upset for SM about all the complaints about Breaking Dawn... i thought the Twilight community was better then to react like that tbh (eg The Lex being hacked etc). I mean, even though it may not have ended the way some would have liked, this is her story thats she's shared with everyone.
