Okay, before I start I want to say that I am Team Edward all the way. I do not like Jacob at all(unless he finds another girl then he's fine with me).

Now, on the Twilight Series Theories Podcast there was a theory that suggested since Bella is safe in her mind and blocks things like Edward's power and Jane's, then she could have blocked Jacob's imprint. Since imprinting is a mind/emotional thing, he could have imprinted on her but Bella's mind blocked it.
What do you think about that?
If her mind didn't block it what do you think would happen?
I thought it was a pretty cool theory.

Steph said Jacob didn't imprint on Bella. So while your theory is an interesting one, and one I thought about once, it isn't possible.

Well in a way Bella is blocking Jacob from ever imprinting. Because unless Jacob can move on, all he will ever see is bella therefore he will never see another girl and has no chance of imprinting.

I don't think I agree with that; the way imprinting works is when the person physically looks at the person (like Quil and his two year old friend), they become attached to them. So say Jacob's sister came home with a friend from college- and he was meant to imprint on her- the moment they were introduced, Bella would cease to be the most important person in his life. I mean, he might always love her in a way, but whoever he imprints on would trump any unresolved feelings Jake has for Bella.

That is very interesting. I hope it is true because I am also Team Edward.

seeing how jake already has imprinted now, we dont have to worry about it but wow i never thought of that way and thats an amazing theory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what i think is that jacob imprinted on her but he didnt kknow it cuz he was blocked from it so then i guess his imprinting instinct told him to imprint on someone else! wow!!! thats so cool...
