Hmm.. I love to write too everyone!

^I don't think I'd wanna get my mum to read my stuff either. She does occasionally, but mainly I just get my friend to read what I've written. It's more her style. And she's a great cheerleader =]

I love writing and summertime is my favourite period of the year because I can write the whole night without worrying of waking up early in the morning to go to school :D I am writing a story at the moment (about vampires and werewolves of course) and I really want to finish it... fingers crossed... hope to finish it within this summer!!!!!

Wow, a lot of you write stuffs.
I write too, but mostly just poems. But unfortunately I've lost my inspiration.
Though I've written a lot in the past. I also wrote like a small story, well, I call it a 'scene'. It was just something I 'saw' in front of me (not literally, just in my head) And I just had to write down the details, and it became a little story. ^^
When you can have like everything, but you have to sacrifice something precious, what or who will it be??

Ah, writing...
the reason why i am in college.
I enjoy the passion of it.
Currently am halfway finished with my first book. :]
I'm Leonello - Volturi God.
One shall remember the day when our eyes met. The day, the sun shined brighter in the sky, & two hearts were beating in a melody we call love. This was the day, I found my Goddess, Renata.

I have like several things going on, I want to write them all, but I can only
handle one at a time. >.< lol one about a girl and a ghost, one about a cat, and a crazy fantasy...I can't work fast enough!! D:

I decided I'm going to save up for a laptop, because I can only really write every other week, and its getting to me.

MyMidnightSun wrote:Okay here's something for you all to read - I haven't finished it yet, and it's still a draft. I hope you like it!

It is the future. Three hundred and sixty five years into the future, to be exact. The world we live in has changed – the world I live in has changed.
I can’t remember what happened exactly, but I can tell you what I do know. It is impossible to tell you what did happen – not even Paul knows the full details, and he knows everything. That’s why he’s our leader.
Basically, it happened like this. About half a century ago, somebody decided they had had enough. They watched a bit too much Dark Angel, read one too many science magazines, became a little power hungry and bam! They took over.
Everything changed – the whole caboodle. We were now the New Republic of England. We were controlled by a secret government; nickname ‘Invisibles.’ Nobody saw them, nobody heard them. But they were there, controlling everything we did, our every move.
What we did see, however, were the Eyes.
And that’s where I come in.
Now, don’t ask me anything from before. I don’t remember anything from before.
This is what I do remember - my very first memory.
Imagine a line of ten, twenty people. All sixteen years of age, male and female. All dressed in black. This is what we were told:
‘You are an Automatic Killing device. You’re silent killers; the world’s most deadliest weapon. You have one mission, one purpose in life.
‘That mission is to protect the New England Republic. Your life is our country’s life. The New England Republic is the heart – you are its beat.’
Pretty scary, right, being told that you are the one who has to take care of the country.

There you are, the start of Heartless!

Oh wow. I love it. :) Sounds really interesting.

Umm... wow. That makes my writing look really puny.
And then he slid the ring on the third finger of my left hand. Where it would stay- conceivably for the rest of eternity.

All i can say is wow, thank you. Show us your writing sometime, I'm sure it's great as well! Everyone's talented in their each indivdual way when it comes to writing.
I am glad you liked it though. I've made an alternate start as well, if you wanted to read that -

In the future, technology will be so far developed that people will be able to create the ultimate weapon - human soldiers.

Created from a complex genetic make-up, these soldiers would be known as Automated Genetic Weaponry Devices - AGWDs, or more simply, Autos. They are the ultimate weapon in warfare, designed with the agility of a gazelle, the speed of a cheetah. Their bones are unbreakable and hard. With the skills of a boxer, the precision of Taekwondo, an Auto is one person you do not want to cross.

The year is 2158. My name is Charlie, and I am an Auto. No wait, scrap that. I am Auto. I still have the cool genetic make-up, the super fast body and a mind of fire where I can see everyone and everything. But I quit. Actually, I ran away.

Now my life is a constant battle between what is right and what is wrong. If you thought life was hard 150 years ago, you're wrong.

You see, about one hundred years ago, somebody decided they had had enough. They watched a bit too much Dark Angel, read one too many science magazines, and became a little power hungry and bam! They took over. Quite ingenious, really, when you think about it. Developing technology to a point to where you are feared by the rest of the world.

And that's when they take over took place.

It was a silent attack - or so I am told. Of course, I wasn't there. I wasn't even created then. What took years, months, days and hours to plan was over in less than a minute.

Early morning, 9:00 exactly according to the chimes of Big Ben. Commuters are on their way to work. Buses, cars, the Underground. London is full of people. No-one suspects anything. Of course, no-one usually does. That's why this thing is just a huge cliche.

People didn't even realise that the government had been phased out. It took them two weeks to realise something was up. News feeds had slowly began to change the way stories were told.

I don't know anything else - Paul won't tell us anything else. He grew up as a child in the New Republic of England.

Now though, we are controlled by a government that no-one knows, no-one sees. Hence the nickname 'Invisibles.' Nobody saw them, nobody heard them. But they were there, controlling everything we did, our every move.

And that's where I come in.

I was once trained to act, not think. Thought is a deadly power that is used irrationally, we were once told. Thought corrupts the mind. So as an Auto, I didn't think. My thoughts were blank, consumed with actions.

But then it happened. I began to think. You see, no-one can stop the power of thought. You can alter it and you can prolong it. And that's exactly what the Eyes did. A 'treatment' was designed, injected monthly into our bloodstream to make us forget thought.

But what if you were immune to the treatment? What if there was a glitch in your genetic make-up that refused the treatment after a certain period of time? That's what happened to me.
