This thread is for ANY questions which pertain to the book in GENERAL (not specifically Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, or Midnight Sun).

An example of a question which should be found here is this;
'Do the Cullens hair grow?'

First question!

Do you think vampires can right- or left-handed? Or are they all ambidextrous? I know it's a random question, but Stephenie always describes the vampires as being so agile, this question just popped into my head.

So? Do you think vampires have a hand preference?

I think they are ambidextrous. They're too perfect in everything, haha.

I think they most likely favour a hand - but I think they are able to do anything with either hand, and it be equal.

I agree with that, I think they favor the hand that they used when they were human, but they can use both...

I have always wanted to know this...

DO Vampire's hair grow? Hair is already dead cells, do they continue to grow?

I know I read somewhere that the Cullens' hair doesn't grow because once you are changed, everything stops.

I also have a question:

I know that when the Cullens eat real food that they have to throw it back up because they can't digest, but what happens when they drink blood?
I have always wondered about that because no where clearly states it.

uh.. that is a very good question, I don't think they go to the bathroom, does it just sit in their stomach?

What do the covers on all the books symbolize?
I think I know what Twilight and Eclipse mean, but I am clueless about NM and BD.

Anyone know?

I always forget what New moon's cover means. xD I think that its supposed to symbolize Bella blooming, or something like that.

Breaking dawn though Stephenie explained in Twilight tuesday earlier, where she was asking questions. She said that both chess pieces are Bella, the pawn being her in the beginning when she was like the weakest player on the board, and at the end, she became the strongest. I was glad she explained it, because I didn't get it either.

OOOOOOOH! Ok.
That makes a lot of sense now.
I knew that Stephenie helped design the Breaking Dawn cover but I never knew the story behind it.

Here's something to ponder :
So when vamps drink human blood they get red eyes. Makes sense, blood is red.
Why are their eyes gold when they drink animal blood?

Maybe because it doesn't satisfy their thirst as much, so it only turns a partial color, instead of the full-on red.

Makes sense to me!
