i have to agree.....in Twilight she was amazing, in New Moon she was so sad, but i understand why...i can actually feel her pain in the months after Edward left, but in Eclipse....well let's just say that the 3rd book was a turning point for me: i got on edward's team 100%, i hated jacob and bella.....i just couldn't get her!!what was she thinking??

I think Bella is great. In all three books, I can understand why she does what she does. In Twilight she is just lovely, clumsy girl that you can not love ! in New Moon, I really feel her pain and I understand her pain of lost, and I understand that she can't avoid falling in love with Jacob in New Moon, Jacob saves her and understands her, and Bella loves to be with him. In Eclipse Bella is just confused about her feelings for Jacob, and she tries to decide what she could do so she wouldn't hurt Jacob so much. I'm glad that she understand in the end, that she couldn't live without Edward, and that becoming a vampire is only choice for her.
I was thinking, what if Bella had choose Jacob and not Edward, and then Jacob imprinted on someone else when they were about 30 years old? Bella would loose both, Edward and Jacob ooops. (8

To me Bella is a very shy person she has her faults just like everyone else and I think thats what Stephenie Meyer intented to create her as so everyone can relate to her. Bella to me is not really that quiet to me shes the type of person you would have to get to know before she opens up to you.

I personally love Bella. At some times, i'm screaming in my head, "what the heck are you doing??" but she always handles it. I don't think i could live through all of the stuff she's done but I am a lot alike her. i can handle weird

I really like Bella, I think I like her because most girls can relate to her because she so normal. She has her flaws and she isn't perfect like how some books make the main heroine almost perfect. I can really relate to Bella because my friends and family all say I am like her because of my klutziness, my caring towards others and caring about others feelings, and I'm also in love with Edward.

I can't wait to see what Bella is going to be like when she is changed and I think it will be an awesome thing to see what her power is or if she even has one.

i like bella. shes like any normal mature for her age teenager. i can relate to her when edward leaves me, bc i had something similar happen like that, only i had no jacob to put me whole again ... a lot of parents dont like her bc they think shes too ditzy too clutzy too dependent on edward.. but if you stand back and take a very big look at her. shes very independent, she takes care of her parents, she (even though she dont think so) is confident to some extent, and stands up for what she believes it.

I like Bella, even though she got annoying in Eclipse. I mean, she shouldn't even have to decide between Edward and Jacob in my opinon. Edward's the perfect guy.

I normally like Bella, too.
But at the end of Eclipse I really hated her for a moment.
I was like WTF when I read it xD

I just don't know why, but I cried because I was so sorry for Edward. (((

But she chose the right one in the end, so I don't "hate" her no longer.
In my opinion she's really brave, too because the closest persons in her life are mythical creatures, which could kill her in a second if they wanted to.

I didn't like Bella much in Eclipse, though she was great in Twilight. Oh well, we gotta understand that downward spiral of depression she went through.
