the article isnt actually that horrible
it just makes sm seem like a crazy writer that cant stop writing about sex and stuff
it made me angry that the writers saying like oh she hasnt even read dracula
everyone has a different perspective on things
hp made witches and wizards good and bad
arent witches JUST meant to be bad.
its unfair
leave sm, twilight, new moon, eclipse, breaking dawn, bella, edward and everyone and thing else along.
gahh

Um...I actually didn't see anything negitive in the artical. O.o
They were pointing out how normally vampire things are bloody with a lot of sexuality or whatever, and they talked about how Stephenie isn't interested in writing that. And they pointed out, "She hasn't even read the original Dracula" because she states that all the time, saying she didn't want to. They just were trying to explain how she came up with the whole story of twilight, without even reading Dracula, implying that its sort of amazing she came up with her own view on vampires, without reading the original stories.

And I don't think they are trying to make her look crazy...Truly, I think thats just how writers are. They can get crazy, in a sense. I know because I'm an aspiring writer...When you get an idea, you just have to take care of it. xD

I dunno if that made sense...I'm not trying to be rude, either. I'm just trying to explain, because I think you misunderstood some things in the artical.

No, I know that the article doesnt sound bad.
But that wasnt the first article the person wrote about SM
It was the second, except the age site removed the other article
the other article was going on about how she shouldn't be able to change dracula into a soppy love story and that the books are silly and they dont compare to Harry Potter so people reading them are just pathetic.
Just made everything sound bad
And the rating they gave it was like 6/10
Plus my english teacher said that this article was written in a way that made Twilight and SM seem silly.
He's the one that actually told me about the article.
Jk Rowling makes witches and stuff good and doesn't get crap, but SM gets trashed.
It sucks.
