I actually feel sad for Rose.
And I totally understand her.
She already was jealous of Bella, because she had what she wanted, and then she was mad.
Bella didn't only got the one thing she always wanted, a baby, she still had what Bella wanted: Edward.
So I think Rose felt like it was really unfair.
But she decided not to be mad anymore. She decided to help Bella.
How could she let her brother take away such a beautiful thing?
She loved the baby from the minute she heard Bella was pregnant, in the same way Bella loved the baby.
So yeah, it's obvious she helped her.
And I don't think she ever wished Bella would die or something.
She just wanted the baby to be okay, not just for herself, but also because of Bella.
I think she always believed Bella would survive.
I think Renesmee is very lucky with a mother and an aunt so devoted to her.

i was sooo mad at rosalie for acting like how she did. Bella probably made a deal with her if she didnt survive for rosalie to take care of the baby because edward would kill him self if bella died.
thats what made me get angy at rosalie.

I love Rosalie she was one of my favourite characters because she was still strong after what happened to her and she was kind at heart. But what happen in book 2 had me screaming at the book! I only gained respect for her because I though she was a nice person deep down and she cared for Bella as a sister but in book 2 when she only really cared for the baby and then was raluctent to give her the baby made so angry, especially Jacob!

I've always loved Rosalie.
Despite her pig-headedness and her selfish ways.
I mean, who's to blame her, she was raised like that. The environment she grew up in stayed with her even after death, after she was changed. She admitted to Bella, all she ever wanted was a child...a sense of normalcy, so of course when she finds out that Bella is pregnant her motherly instincts kick in and all she can think about is the baby. Just like Bella, but I'm sure that Rose's "support" thru the whole situation didn't help everybody else's pleas of keeping Bella alive.
Yes, I was upset with Rosalie with the way she acted about the entire thing, but I also get where she was coming from. If you wanted something bad enough, you would do just about anything to get it, wouldn't you? Some say one of the worst things in the world is to lose a child, but what if you couldn't lose a child due to the fact that you couldn't HAVE a child to lose. Her actions were harsh, but I think with being who she was and what her history had been, she was blinded by her own personal needs. That's simply who Rosalie is.
You've got to admit though, she makes one hell of an aunt, if you ask me. Nessie is going to continue to be spoiled rotten by all of her family members.

I'd love this book in Rosalies POV, maybe not all of it but maybe split between her and Jasper like with Bella and Jacob.

That would be seriously cool.

you arent supposed to LIKE rosalie. If everyone was likeable the book wouldn't be what it is today..

rosalie got really annoying! it is bellas baby!

i punched the wall then i threw a lot of things everywhere rosalie pissed me off that much, its BELLAS baby, not her baby, im reading it again now and even though i know how it turns out its still making me so angry!!!! grrrr

i was really super mad at rosalie in BD. she was very protective of the baby, it seems that she spent more time with nessie than bella did! i did kind of feel sorry for her though. that is all rosalie ever wanted was a husband and a child. she wanted to be normal. i think nessie was comforting to her.
