Its kind of a toss up now.. ill be 21 this week..but I have no interest of getting totally noshed. lol. High school totallly ruined it...lol. I can do vodka and rum... but because of high school... tequila is out of the question!!!

my prom was on my 18th birthday...not exactly the thing i wanted to do...but my date was awesome and my group was hillarious so they made it fun!1

My Prom.... i danced a lot...and that's pretty much all i can remember... LOL!

Hmm so my PROM.... I'll skip the story of my junior prom because I went solo... =[ in a group of 4 couples. GRR.

SOOO my senior Prom... HA where to start.

1) I live in Phoenix and it was a HOTTTT saturday.. and getting ready was a mess. I had no hair appointment (no Alice) and no make-up appointment so I had to wing it. & I'm not very good with the girlie stuff like doing my hair and make-up.
2) Our Prom was outside.. albeit a pretty location in the heart of downtown Phoenix.. as soon as I stepped outside I saw a MASSIVE HABOOB (these natural occurances only can be found in the Sahara desert and AZ; lucky us) [they are a giant wall of dust.. if you've ever seen the Mummy kind of like that] && I was driving right into it.

Anyways despite the weather and RANDOM rain ruining my dress and naturally curly hair I had an okay time. I went with my bf of a year.

I can't seem to upload the pictures... but I will post them later.

I went to prom 3 years. I only went to show off the dresses I made for myself. I never had a date, and my mom drove me there and picked me up.

The only dance I had with someone else was at the senior prom. Sophomore year my best guy friend Austin(it was a sad day for the female population when he figured out he was gay) promised me that he'd save me a dance at the senior prom if I didn't have a date, so the last slow dance of the night he danced with me. This is the dress that I made and wore to the prom my sophomore year the theme was Midnight Masquerade and this dress is from the Phantom of the Opera movie.

My senior prom was fun...I went with my boyfriend at the time, and most of my best friends were there too. It was a dry grad so we were there from 7pm to 7am. Lots of good memories.

My junior prom was horrible... The guy fixing my hair was running so late that by the time he got to me, I had missed my pictures appointment. Then he got so rushed that he accidentally dropped the curling iron on my face, burning it REALLY bad and leaving a huge mark across my face (it didn't scar, luckily). I was crying so much by then that I couldn't calm down enough to put on my makeup, so I was sitting in my living room on the couch, next to my prom date who was already ready, balling my eyes out. My mom finally gave me a Valium to calm me down, and while it worked...I was so out of it the rest of the night I barely even remember the entire night. Oh, and at the after party, my prom date got drunk and made out with some girl I hated right in front of everyone (including my friends and myself).

But my senior prom this year was great! I went alone and had an absolute blast!!! No worries at all!
Weird how life turns out, right?

Anyway...here is a small picture of me from prom a few weeks ago. It's not great, and I had to cut everyone else out of it since they probably didn't want to be seen on a Twilight forum, haha, but here it is...

I was forced into going to that sick, savage ritual known as Prom.
I hate dressing up, I can't dance, I can't wear heels, I trip over everything, and I'm not a big fan of hiphop and rap music.
So, if you roll everything I pretty much fail at in life into one thing, you get Prom.
The whole night was just kind of awkward.

Prom can really get pretty awkward if you don't get to spend it with your close friends. i love dressing up for prom, but where's the point in that if i get to spend it as a wallflower with none of my friends present? (: it didn't matter to us whether or not we could dance; as long as we were having fun and sharing that fun with each other, then that was what mattered. (:

In Argentina things are a little different

We don't have proms, I mean, it depends on the school you are going to.

Usually, people who graduate from school just make a party in some kind of night club where you can invite friends that don't have to necessarily attend to the same school...

It's a little complicated to explain the whole thing through the internet.

In my case we make a party at my school, it was like a meal, and then we danced there, our parents and siblings were invited to.

Men didn't have to ask us for come with'em... but when we went inside the place were our relatives were waiting for us I came in with my best friend, but he didn't ask me, we just made the decission together... and when we danced we could dance with everyone, men or women...
