I know that's not original considering this is the Twilight-Teens site...but I'll explain why I even bothered to put it down.

1. I'm really bored
2. I want someone to get to know me more here...because I'm really bored.

Soo here we go lol.

I've realized that I feel trapped when I'm in a place for too long. I go to reading in order to free my mind to a place where I am not trapped anymore. I'm open to everything, I'm free....flying.

Another reason I read is because....it takes me away from all the insanities in this world. I was yelled at constantly as a child, being the only child and all and my family was always stressed....I would go into my books to hide from it. To ...get away from it. Kind of like the trapped thing, never noticed that..it goes together doesn't it?

It just...seems to make me understand myself, because I can see the similarities between me and the particular character. I also can understand that the characters are not real, they are fictional...and I could never meet them (after reading Anne Rice so profusely that I just had an inkling Lestat was reall...lol)..excluding of course if they were the cast in movies.

Yeah....um..there's more to it than that more than likely, but that's all I gotta say.

Another thing I love to do is write...as you can tell. People tend to know me more because I write it out thanif I'm talking to the person.

When I'm having a horrible day I just start reading, because I can escape reality. I love it.

Escape reality but also understand reality more by comparing it to the fantasy of books.

Good point, that's also true.

True that! I think that's a main reason why I understand people...easily?

And also why I sometimes can find the tone of a person through what is written. It's great.

Books are so much easier to deal with than people.

Because they already have their dramas and reconciliations printed out...lol.

Alot of the time I'd rather deal with that, than people in general, though. :]

I agree. I love to read. Escapism has always been one of the many thinks I take pleasure and comfort in. To immerse yourself in someone else's life... it's terribly refreshing.

I also love reading. I've read so many books from so many differend genres that I can't even remember all ! After I finished Twilight for the first time, I haven't read so much different books. Only Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse in two different language I started to read Wuthering Heighs, but I never finished that. It's just like Vanessa Carlton says in her song ''I will never see the sky the same way, 'cause I've seen Twilight.'' I can't read anything else, because nothings as good as Twilight.

Really? That wasn't the case for me.
I've always been an avid reader, but I had kind of let off a little bit, but as soon as I read the Twilight series I was back to reading a ton again.

Im the same way reading takes me away and I dont leave that place until I put my book down and turn off my iPod....

I guess you could say reading is my 'safeplace'

like you guys said, i read to escape the real world for a while...and yet sometimes it helps me see the real world in a better light, if that makes sense?

Either way, have always loved reading and i doubt that that will ever change! Especially when i 'meet' people like Edward in books!

I agree! When I read... it's like I'm in a different world. It's like I actually KNOW these characters. I feel their pain, joy, love, etc... It's funny, you get lost in this world so much that you have to keep going back and back to make sure they're still there. (:

yep you get lost in the world and when someone brings me out of it I want to bite there head off
