Personally I think he's perfect. I was a bit skepitcal at first, but after seeing the official cast photos I was reassured.

Nobody is perfect, really.
And I don't know if Robert is the best person that fits Edward, since I don't know everybody that lives on this earth.

I do know, however, that I am exceptionally pleased with their choice regardless and that, out of everyone that was suggested as Edward, he beats them all.

He was on my personal list of Edwards the first time I read the book. So I was ecstatic when I found that he got the role. =D

At first i was like "WTF he's british!" but then i was like, that doesn't matter, people can fake accents. It's fine.

And then i was like, he was gorgeous as Cedric, I am happy.

Robert = the closest to Edward that there really is, in my eyes at least.

He has been bashed A LOT when people received word that he had been casted as our beloved Edward and he still continues to receive criticism from a large portion of the twilight fan population.

This is UNFAIR, in my opinion.
NO, he isn't Edward. NO, he isn't probably what you expect him to look like. But to be honest, everyone has a different opinion of what Edward should or should not look like.

BUT, we need to think positive.
He does have the...
- The traditional good looks
- Charm
- Great teeth
- A good, soft voice.
- The height
- Recently plucked eyebrows. ;] !
- The muscles (We have just seen proof in the latest TM album photos with his sweater very tight against his chest. =D! )
- The features (the jaw line is A-mazing!)
AND MORE!

Well, when I saw him at the first, I fell in love and thought "Omg... he's gorgeous!!! *run to the market to buy HP and the goblet of fire just to see him over and over*" um, yeah.

And when I was thinking after a little bit, I just got to think about that he had been my Edward for a while, even when I didn't had seen who should play him.
And now is it him I'm seeing in my head when I'm reading the books. Over and over. xD

And he have a wonderful personality, which is absolutely great.

I think that Rob is okay, not great, not pefect, but okay. He is cute, I have ot give him credit for that. And when he laughs he's even cuter, but I think that they could have done better to be honest. But He's okay (lol)

I'm very glad that Rob was picked as Edward because I had a very hard time bringing Edward to life in my mind. I just couldn't picture it because it felt like something wasn't right. Then, I see that Rob was casted, and I was VERY happy. Probably my favorite choice for casting. Almost made me Team Edward ha!

Anyway, bottom line is I think Rob is a great choice!

My sentiments exactly. I don't really like the bashing that he's been going through! D: We should call him sometime to cheer him up!

Yeah, I think it's horrible that people keep bashing him! No one ever bashed him when he was Cedric, and I think he'll be ten times better in this movie. Not saying he was a bad Cedric (he was an amazing Cedric), I just really think this is a good part for him.

There has been talk suggesting that many people, even reviewers, think that Twilight will be an even larger hit then the Harry Potter movies.
Lets keep our fingers crossed for it! I would love to see Stephenie and her wonderful characters get even more publicity!
