I LOVED IT. It's like a science fiction book for people who have never read and don't really like science fiction. I think that's because it's such a dynamic story. Stephenie Meyer always creates more and more and more into a story than just what's on the surface. It's a little romance (okay, maybe a lot of romance) and action. It's also a mystery are you discover more and more about the humans life and the souls and all that. Seriously, Wanderer is keeping secrets up until the very end. I liked that. And it can be funny at times too. :D BIG LOVE FOR THE HOST.

Honestly, if Stephenie Meyer hadn't have written it, then I would never have given The Host a second glance in the book store.

But I'm glad she did write it, because I really enjoyed it!

I'm not a si-fi person but this is the one exception
I LOVED reading it.

Stephanine has such a brilliant mind.

I'm hopfull she's going to create The Seeker, and The Soul and make it a trilogy. It'll be so good.

I loved the host!

It's a sci-fi book for people who don't read sci-fi!

I'm pretty sure I would have read it otherwise. I'm such a sucker for pretty book covers. Its not okay to judge a book by its cover but if a book has a great cover I go for it despite the genre.

I loved it because it makes you think about stuff you take for granted. Especially since I live where its set so it made me step outside and re-examine the desert and how it could be beautiful to other people.

i love the host :] did imagine myself reading it at first but when i thought about it i was like "'okay i'll give it a try, it's SM's work anyway'"

the beginning didn't quite give the same impact Twilight did but half-way through it made me read like there's no tomorrow x.x i'm just so into the situations that happened, i just totally love it <33 yeeyy stephenie :]

i've never read a sci-fi novel before, and i thought i'll never read one, but then came The Host... at first i was a little hesitant in reading it since sci-fi novels aren't exactly my type of reads, but it was dubbed as a sci-fi novel for people who don't like sci-fi novels, and Stephenie wrote it, so i thought i might as well give it a try. and i was GLAD that i did.

Im not one for sci-fi and to be honest it took me awhile to get into this book, but one day i took it to work and i was at the part when mel/wanda get off the highway and start heading for the hills and i couldnt put it down! Then ian came along and my heart melted i love his character, more then edward even. and i cried! i never cry over books but i bawled over this one! I hope this is a series! And to be honest i think i love this book a tad bit more then i love twilight  i know i know dont come after me but its true.

Stephenie Meyer really is an excellent writer. Unlike others who say they wouldn't have read it if it weren't for her, well...I'm the kind of person who if the cover appeals to me, I'll see what's it about. So, the cover appealed to me, the eye looked exactly like mine (No, it won't reflect in the light...) But yes. I really enjoyed this book. Ian totally is my favorite character...Besides Wanderer/Melanie that is :]

i'm not a huge fan of sci-fi but i loved it to bits! Wanda's a really selfless soul and she really did deserve a chance in 'humanity'. and it's amazing how Ian and her fell deeply in love..

it was also amazing how she endured all the pain caused by the feeling of being unwanted no matter how hard she tried to prove herself to the people..specially to jared, during the first part of the book and she was doing it all for melanie.. *sob*
