Okay, I've seen threads discussing the Harry Potter Series and of course, Edward VS. Harry, but none with just the books.

I'm sure there are others like me who were devoted Harry Potter fans before Twilight came around, and I want to know where you stand now. If you had to choose, which series is better in your opinion, Harry Potter or Twilight?

I hate how they are compared. I don't see why they should be compared. They're completely different.

By the way.. i love your "location". Haha. So cool.

They shouldn't be compared because for me they are really different.. haha!

But the Twilight Saga will always be number 1 for me..

I like both, and for so many different reasons, they are completely different and yet for me have a similar effect, they put me into this fantasy world that seems soo real!!

Although, being a romantitist...Twilight is edging out HP at times!

They are very different books/stories, but they are both great, and both got people to read who probably wouldn't normally have picked up a book for pleasure! I love them both. But my heart does lie with Twilight. (Even though, I am a little nostalgic for HP. I started it when I was 11 years old, and the final book came out when I was 19. That's a long time!)

Erm I agree with everyone else. They are two differnt books but I still think Twilight is better but thats only my opinion.

There is no reason for a comparison, Twilight wins by far. period.

wow, tough question much?

hmm...they're really different, since twilight is geared toward young adults and harry potter toward all ages. it's just too hard to choose.

however, if threatened by gunpoint...i'd say harry potter. i know this is a twilight forum, so please don't shoot me!

Twilight Saga is better.
to me anyway.

I can read twilight over and over again and i couldn't do that with harry potter, i got sick of it after the first couple of pages.

I didn't intend for this to be another thread comparing the two...the only thing that brought them together in my mind is the extent to which their popularity has exploded among crowds of all ages. I've just been wondering whether people who are devout fans of both still hold one higher than the other.

And thank you for the comment about my "location" haha.

Umm.. well, i'm a big fan of both so it's really hard for me. I do LOVE Harry Potter but.. i think i do like Twilight better. I feel bad saying anything bad about Harry Potter though because i love it. Haha. Oh gosh, who's a freak? I am.

I love' em both in very different ways, but for me Harry Potter cant be compared to Twilight. HP is a good series but Twilight is brilliant!

They are both amazing.

Harry Potter was always my first obsession and it got me reading.
I think it was the first big series I have ever read.

im srry no contest b/t them. i love twilight ...end of story. its just how in the world can a wizzard turn you on and love you forever?? i mean they cant dazzle you, well if they put up in a spell, but its not a true desire.
