I know it says somewhere in twilight that alice has short hair but where?? I think when i read twilight i must of missed that part because i always imagined her with long hair til i saw her be casted.

yeah it's in chapter one on page 18 it's when Bella is describing the Cullens. She says " The girl was pixielike, thin in extreme, with small features.Her hair was a deep black, cropped short and pointing in every direction."

I think Edward explains it at some point. It was a ruse of sorts. James is the leader, but Laurent poses as the leader. I can't remember why, but it's explained somewhere.

The way they are set up is a front - it's to make the Cullens believe Laurent is the leader, even though James is. You have to remember that James is a game player.

Well i was just wondering because I never noticed it before, and this is my 5th time reading Twilight. I always thought bella was just afraid of Rosalie and intimidated by her beauty and her hate towards her, but i didn't think that she would not like to her to extent of not caring if she died.

oh and i found what Rosalie said about Bella

"Get upstairs and trade clothes," Edward commanded. She stared back at him with livid disbelef.
"Why should I? " she hissed. "What is she to me? Except a menace -- a danger you've chosen to inflict on all of us."
I flinched back from the venom in her voice.

I'm pretty sure that was just an unsaid worry in her haid. like when she listed them she was panicky and upset so she probably didnt purposefully not list Rosalie. Come on its Bella. she worries about everyone but herself

Alice stood. "I'll come with you."
"Do you mind if Jasper somes instead?" I asked. "I'm feeling a little..." I didn't finish the sentence. My eyes were wild enough to convey what I didn't say. "

I understand why Bella needed to go with Jasper to be able to escape, but what was her reason for wanting to go with him? What was she feeling and what did it have to do with Jasper taking her?

Umm actually it's because to Alice, Bella is really predictable unlike to Edward. Either because she can see into the future or just from woman's intuition. So if Alice had been the one to follow her to the bathroom then she'd find out much sooner what Bella was up to considering she had been thinking of the plan much sooner. Also, since Alice is also a girl, she would ahve followed Bella INTO the bathroom, preventing her from escaping through the other entrance.
