Totally think about it. If Edward was invincible--which he is, what about Jacob? Normal werewolves have many anger issues, as in when they get into a fight it is usually based upon rage and then they poof into a wolf and attack, but vampires have a natural poison running through their fangs, so if they bite, your either dead or the next generation of vampires. So let us say that both Edward and Jacob got so ticked off while fighting over bella---or me ^-^ and Edward has no poison running through his veins and Jacob realizes that he cannot turn wolf all of the sudden and they had only there brute strength to fight with...who would win?
Truly if they were fighting over myself i'd say they could have me both--or whichever ones not dead in the end! JK

If they only had brute strength then it depends who knows how to fight better. Just from guessing I could say Jacob knows how to street fight and Edward could have picked up anything through the years his been living.

I would think Jacob would win if its 1 on 1 but the question is would u rather be jacob or edward?

Vampires are stronger than Werewolves, I think. Because normally vampires travel alone or with a partner. And werewolves consist of 4-5. Which means that there should be double the number of vampires to kill them.

Therefore..vampires would win over werewolves.

that's just my theory.

hmm does edward still have his ability to read mines??? becuz if he does then i think edward would win unfortunately.

I think, it would be a pretty even fight.... I mean Jacobs strengt.. Edward's speed and his ability to read minds..... That's a hard one !!

bite^me^Edward says that she thinks that Edward would win... but she thinks that's just because she can't stop daydreaming about her meeting him... and also because he's so light and lithe... Jacob's just so HUGE!! She also says that really it would all come down to who is really ready for it.. tata!!
Sorry but bite^me^Edward was at my house and she didn't feel like logging into her password, so when i was looking and seeing all of your comments she thought she'd like her opion.

what I meant is that since vampires usually travel alone or by pairs, it would mean that they could take care of themselves. While a pack consists of 4-5 werewolves. So the werewolves need to outnumber the vampires to win. But if both sides were equal..then the vamps would win.

Vampires forever, wooo! (: but i wouldn't like to have the werewolves killed. i love them too much too (:

I'm team Edward all the way but I;m trying to keep an open mind and obstain from bashing.

Sounds to me like Edward would win under any circumstances, as long as it was one on one. When numbers get mixed in there, it can get confusing, but otherwise, it's Edward.
Here is my logic: if Edward is fighting Jacob and there is no venom or wolflyness involved, Edward would win because Jacob only has his "super strength" as a wolf. He is just an abnormally strong human. Even if Jake could turn into a wolf, it takes a few Wolves to kill a Vamp. because a. vamps are a little faster/more agile (especially Edward) and b. Vamps are older (most of the time) so therefore have more experience.
Sorry Team Jacob, but Edward could totally kick Jake's fuzzy butt. (no offence intended)

yeah. Werewolves have super strength. But vamps are more...er..powerful. LOL. Don't get me wrong though..I have nothing against the werewolves. (: I actually love Jake too.
