I also had about 2 friends while I was there. No one wanted the non-partier around so I was further alienated. Some people went out of their way to make fun of me about it.

well that was kind of shallow/superficial for them to exclude you just because you're a non-partier. and here we thought most college people are more mature :?

as to everyone... see? see? what's it really with roommies?? gahhh

My worst college experience.. It was January last year. I live in the North East of England, and my friend's birthday was on a sunday. I wanted to make an appearance at his party, so I got a coach down to London (Where he lived) on Saturday. My coach back (Meant to be around 6pm on sunday evening) was delayed. I ended up having to go straight from the bus station to college, having had no sleep, no shower, and with my weekend luggage.

I was suspended for "not taking my studying seriously". I'd gone through hell to get there on time, spending over £50 on taxis! If i hadn't cared about studies, i'd've simply gone home..

Mine's pre college, but related...my school messed up my predicted grades on ucas so all my universities turned me down. By the time i found out why, it was too late because all their places had been given out...
now i have to have an extra gap year which sucks. i cant stand living with my family its gonna be hell.

I had to have my transcripts and everything sent to the teaching department so they could clear me as being trained and eligable to teach. Well my uni never sent them and when i rang and asked they said it was the teaching departments problem and that they had sent them. As predicted, the teaching department said it was the uni's fault!!

This was at the end of my degree and consequently i missed out on a job! gah!!

mine isn't as bad as some of them i have read on here though!! I think myself lucky!

Hmm, I think mine is definitely is when I found out by my student account status that I was suspended from my graduate program because I had one more C than I was allowed. No email, no call, no snail mail...nothing. To make a long story short. I got super mad and didn't take no for an answer and now I'm graduating in a few weeks! It was a real pain trying to sort everything out but I just kept at it.

She's a sweet girl and all, but we had absolutely nothing to talk about :P. Even though we had the same major.

Yeah i know how that feels like i had two roomates one was kool cuz we had something to talk about but the other one well we didnt have the same major so we had even less to talk about she ended up moving out in the second semester lol anyways another bad experience was last semester, omg i had this math class and the stupid professor told me and my friend to get up and move to the front of the room and i wasnt even doing anything...my friend was asking me something and I was about to asnwer her when he tells us that! I was sooo mad! Not only was it embarassing but it was so stupid! I mean teachers only do that in elementary school, middle school and high school for gods sake!! I mean come on gosh i hated his guts after that but I showed him by getting an A at the end of teh semester!! SO HA! lol stupid math professor!!! I couldnt eve understand what he said!! Oh that was another problem ...i dunno but he had this heavy accent and i could not understand what he said and on top of that he mumbled alot!! SO there is my horrible college experience! Hope u all enjoy! lol :)

Nor would I. Then again, I never really had a high school experience.. My attendance was 12% until I left when I was 15. I had to do my high school exams in college. Then when it got to actual COLLEGE work, I left again. I need to learn how to stick things out.

Ok so I am walking to my Lit class with my new guy friend (extremely dreamy eyes) so we are walking to different buildings and he always walks me to my class, hile heading to one of the entrances we notice there are a lot of flies flying around and then it started to smell funny. He is in front of me and and he points to the ground off to his right and there is a dead stiff cat that is literally in about five seconds from noticing it explodes! He took the hit. From then on no walking me to Lit class.

My poor friend is being told she isn't qualified to teach because she didn't complete one of her classes. They said she didn't turn up for any of the classes when i know for a fact she did, because she rode in the car with me and say with me during the classes!

This was from over a year ago and they are only saying something about it now!!!

How can faculties/universities and other institutions screw things up so terribly???

I think I've got a pretty dang interesting story.

So it's 4:15 on a Sunday MORNING, and I'm soundly asleep. I wake up to the torso of a random girl climbing into MY bed with me still in it. She crawls over me and sits up against the wall (I have a lofted bed right by the window) and is rubbing her eyes when I say "Excuse me, I believe you're in the wrong room." I said this about four times before she looked at me all dazed and such and asked, "Isn't this Nicole's room?" I was pretty sure she was drunk. I told her it wasn't, and that she needed to leave. So somehow she climbs down from the bed and leaves through the bathroom door. I figured out the next day (technically later that day) that it was one of my suitemates (in my school two people share a dorm and a bathroom connects it and the room next door, so four people share the bathroom), who apparently did not realize that she was in the wrong room. The next day I asked her if she'd had anybody over who might have gotten confused, and she said no, but I saw that she was wearing the same shorts as the girl who climbed into my bed so it had to have been her. I didn't say anything and I'm not mad, but that had to be one of the strangest experiences of my life.
