my senior prom was redonk. i went to a coworkers, but his was insanely small. like i'd say there were 40 kids there tops, and it was his entire school... so i was really out of place because everyone was so close.
as far as my school goes, a boy i was talking to asked me, then we had an issue over the limo, i didnt want to go with his group of friends... so he took back the invitation, and gave it to my best friend, because she was going with that group. then he got a girlfriend and took his invite from her back and took his new girlfriend. my best friend was broken hearted soi told her she could be my date, and its funny that i would end up going with the group i didnt want to go with in the beginning. but then a really good friend of mine, his date bailed on him, so he asked me... but... i think we were both bad dates. i pretty much paid for everything, he bought dinner but insisted that we.. sharee.. wtf? and then come dance time i just blew him off. thats awful of me, but it made my night so much better.

The yellow dress is soooo pretty! I also like that red and white dress one girl in the picture had on. I HATE/LOVE WHEN GUYS DON'T PAY! It makes me happy to show I can be independent, but then they keep doing it!

My junior prom was kind of lame. My date didn't want to do anything, but it was alright.

My senior prom (that happened just two months ago lol) was amazing! At first I was really skeptical about my date. I didn't think it was going to be any fun. But he was fun, even though I had more fun with my friends. My date and I are now together, so it didn't go bad at all. I think the greatest thing though was finding out that my friends think I can dance. Plus my best friend happens to be a guy, and we ended up dancing together. So everyone was like "AWWW! FINALLY!" And we were all, "Uhm... no... just friends!"

OH! AND ANOTHER THING! Jenni (BrightEyes) and I went to see Prom Night the weekend before I had my prom. It was pretty creepy, so after the movie I was just sitting in silence. Jenni turns to me, laughs, and goes, "Have fun at prom!" =P

I do not have the pictures in this computer, but as soon as I get home I'll upload them...

My prom wasn't so great. The dinner was good, but then when most proms turn into dance, a whole crap load of people left. The prom committee people arranged or prom in Hull, Quebec so that anyone who was 18 could drink at afterparty (I was only 17). So of course being teenagers, everyone just wanted to get wasted and left. So there were like 20 of us dancing in this light room because it was only like 8 and it was summer and there were these HUGE windows. Then we headed to afterparty and it was freezing cold considering it was June, and the stupid people had all the girls lining up around the back of the building and guys at the front so we couldn't stand with all of our frinds while we waited and they were letting in ONE PERSON AT A TIME. We waited about an hour and we'd barely moved (there were 4 or 5 other schools there too) and so we decided to leave (buh bye $40 ticket) to go to my friends place to drink on our own and have a bon fire and camp out. Unfortuately that friend was a guy who'd already managed to get in at the front and once you're in, the flipping people won't let you out. So my friend James ended up driving all the way back to where I live with three of us to bring us home because all of our plans were falling through, we dropped the other 2 off and went to my house. It was 4 am but I didn't care because my dad wasn't supposed to be home. I get home and there's his car. So I ended up sleeping on a basement floor of my other friend's house on prom night. But then the next day I hitched a spot on a road trip to go pick up a friend who moved away and then the next day we had a wicked awesome Canada Day (I have the scars to prove it) so I don't care about prom. Can. Day was my favourite memory of summer of Grade 12 and totally makes up for it lol.

We rode a double-decker bus there and sat on the top. Katelyn there isn't smiling because she had braces so she didn't really smile for about two years. You should see her now lol.

And everyone you all look soooo pretty all dressed up. I'd love to wear my dress but it's been a year and I'm worried about the 'Freshman Fifteen' from university, so I'm kind of too protective of my last ounce of self-esteem to attempt wearing it.

I really love the yellow dress a few posts above mine. You look gorgeous.

I liked my prom. I am crazy about dresses, so that was one of the reasons why i did go. I like to dance, though i am clumsy sometimes haha
well, i just didn't really like music and the way ppl danced too.
oh well, i had fun though. I am going to another prom on friday, but in Russia this time haha

my formal (australia ) was ok....cept that i looked bloated and pregnant course of my dress style haha

i kinda had fun at prom, i saw that movie prom night the night before prom lol so that added to the fun lol.

i got mad at my date like right when prom started lol he said my dancing was too 2007 and its 2008 O_o.

well i cant download any pictures but my dress was a chocalate brown and tied around my neck. it was cute. i wore gold earrings and heels.
