how did you feel about the unexpected twist??? after all, steph did make it seem like it was ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for bella and edward to carry their OWN CHILD...



at first.. i didn't feel like it was real, because of the past evidence steph supplied... but after a while.. when she was born, and we got to see the REAL PERSONALITY of the baby.. i was happy.


any comments on this?

but Renesmee is such a cutie patootie.

wtf was my first reaction.

then, omg, it's killing bella!

but then i could picture a little adorable perfect kid.

and then i was like awww.

omfgwtf?!

first I was like "wtf??" and then I got used to it. She was cute.

I gotta say that at first I HATED her. She reminded me too much of the baby thing that Cordy from the tv show Angel had that was evil and everyone was enamoured with it and practically worshipping it. It was just creepy the way everyone was instantly in love with her. I pretty much hated her up until Jake imprinted on her. Then I was "I guess shes okayyyy" and I finally started to like her as a character when we started to get to see her personality develop. I'm not bashing steph or anything, like I said I do like her NOW, but honestly at first I really didn't. And the name is kinda different but it's cool. It would have been nice to name her Elizabeth though

LOL. UR NOT BASHING AT ALL. BUT YEAH.. I FELT THAT WAY AT FIRST TOO.. I HATED HER.. I WAS LIKE.. "OMG.. THAT EVIL LITTLE "THING" IS KILLING BELLA!!! BUT I ALSO HATED ROSALIE FOR BEING SELFISH ANDLETTING IT. AHHAHH . NOW IM COOL W/ BOTH OF THEM. SHE'S A KYOOTIE!!!

i clapped my hands over my mouth. really cliche i know lol but i was like WHAAAAAAAAAAT ... my bro and fiance were lookin at me like i was dumb.

i like renesmee. thats that, i loved the twist, and i didnt throw my book acrossed the room once in anger

Yeah, the worst part of that whole thing was Rosalie.
I'm not sure what Stephanie wanted us to think about her. We all knew that she wanted a baby...and here she was supporting Bella having one that was essentially killing her, and would have had they not figured out the blood and Edward wasn't so determined.
So, I don't know that was a sore spot for me. Were we supposed to be happy with her or dislike her even more?

but anyways...yah idk what my first reaction was. i think i was in too much shock and it was so late and so tired that it completely didnt affect me much

At first i was like wtf?!?!? I mean there NO WAY its possible. I mean hes dead! but I love Nessie! shes so cute and I'm glad Stephanie added that suprising twist int the books

I also hated Renesmee at first. Mostly because she was hurting Bella and the way she made Edward such a broken man. But after she was born, it was just like what everyone else felt when they met her. She's hard to dislike when you can tell she really is sweet and that Bella and Edward truly are happy to have a child. About Rosalie though, I know she was just helping Bella, but it did seem like she had an ulterior motive that wasn't about helping Bella at all. It's sort of like when I read HP and Snape turned out to be good. I understood him better, and was glad he tried to help Harry, but he was still a bitter old man and I couldn't truly like him.

Yeah, at first I was like. WOW! that came from no where, then I started picturing like.. this demented kid (dawn of hte dead came to mind, because it's the only movie/show i'd really watched that had anything similar to this) and then, like everyone else, I fell in love with Nessie.

I was so shocked though.
I always thought that this would happen but then people were like "you are so stupid, that could never happen!!"
well look whose stupid now.

At first, i was mad at rosalie AND bella...
they were oth causing Edward so much dispair, and the baby was killing her!!!

But now im glad Bella was so stubborn and i appreciate Rosalie as well.

Renesmee is sooo adorable.
I loved her right when we first got to realy know her. I almost cried when she was having to leave bella.
